@twin plover try the flatpak version
What packages do you have installed for the NVIDIA drivers?
I know there's a very easy way to check that, how do I do that?
pacman -Q | grep nvidia should show them
Someone in a Steam forum had an issue where the newest Proton wasn't installing for specific games. Could be your case
I was tried an older version, and same result
Have you tried checking here? Might help on some troubleshooting steps https://www.protondb.com/app/319630
I did, no success
Have you tried launching with
LANG=C %command% in your launch options yet?
Just tried that, didn't work
Try this method suggested by daniel.mantione
Forum is very old, may still be relevant I have no idea. They found out that some of their dependencies either were out of date or didn't exist
Yeah that didn't have anything useful for Arch sadly
It's alright, I'm tired so I get it
I think I might just try PopOS or something with all the trouble I've been having
@twin plover have you tried stock arch?
I have, it gave me a lot of the same problems
Arch tends to really have a problem with my GPU setup
@twin plover also endevour os?
I have also tried Endevour, to similar result
I have trouble getting optimus working on anything Arch based
@twin plover which part of this are you using https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA_Optimus ?
Right now envycontrol
@twin plover can you tell me what method you are using
I'm using Hybrid
--rtd3?
No, I didn't enable that
