#windows 11 installation can't find my hard drive {SOLVED}
22 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
@livid hazel duelboot?
It has Linux on it but im planning on using windows 11 fully
@livid hazel can you take a photo of the installer please
Something like that
rescan
I did and it said it couldn't find any drives
I think it's because I have a Linux partition installed
And it's btrfs instead of ntfs
I have installed it with a linux partition
remove the windows partition
I have no windows partition only Linux
I made an additional partition that was ntfs to see if that fixed but idk if that was the solution
try making a exxt4 partition
Turn the ntfs partition I created to ext4?
yes
are you trying to install it to a hd?
SSD
I've solved my issue.
If anyone comes across this post heres how I solved it.
First I installed Linux because I didn't have a secondary PC but if you do make a windows bootable drive. I had to install Intel drivers on a separate USB drive so I can use them during installation because I couldn't see my drives. Make sure gpt is on for your drive and that you have it formatted
