So its my first time dualbooting w10 and arch linux. I mounted the windows efi partition to /boot/efi, ran ``grub-install --target=x86_64-efi --bootloader-id=grub_uefi --recheck", then it said "error: invalid volume" 5 times before finishing with "no errors". I thought this was weird but decided to ignore it and made a config file for grub, but osprober didnt seem to detect windows, and now im scared that i messed something up.
(Uefi, secureboot is off, windows installation is mounted to /mnt/windows, windows and arch are respectively installed in a ssd and a hdd)
#[beginner] grub-install says "error: invalid volume"

ig it's because you didn't specify the efi-directory
After that i did but it still didnt work
Ok yeah i think osprober just straight up doesnt work
Prob gonna switch to systemdboot
It’s too damn late for me to help you in depth but if they are separate drives, just make the ESP partitions separate per drive don’t do what you’re doing
