I am not sure how this happened, I think it probably had something to do with me not turning on my computer for about 15 days. Anyways, I can't seem to install/update some things because nodejs related things. Also my vim isn't working as of right now but my nvim is. Anyways, the main problem I'd like to address is the nodejs related issue. For example, I am trying to install mullvad by running "yay -S mullvad-vpn" and i get this output (attached in there). I've tried uninstalling nodejs and npm but i can't seem to get it out of my system no matter what I do. I can't find a solution to this problem, any help would be greatly appreciated.
#annoying, weird package manager confusion that i caused.

iirc stuff like that can sometimes happen when your system is a bit outdated and you try to install from the aur, i would try updating and then retry installing
oh wait that's you installing node and related things..
i would still try updating
weird things can happen when you install packages in general after not updating for a bit
i did try updating
frankly, im not sure what to do
i did try asking chat gpt for a solution and i tried doing what it says but it said if none of its solutions work to ask the community and make sure the system is up-to-date
which it is
would it just be best to build my system again
unsure tbh
Oh this
@analog hare that package wants a specific nodejs version but you have another installed already
Hence it goes to install but there's an instance already there
i nuked it
but thanks
im not sure how i got a different version of node
my nvm didnt let me swap to a different one
the package you were trying to install wanted a niche modifed version of node
you had the normal one installed already
there is a tool (don't remember what its called tho) that lets you have multiple installed at once
