When attempting to install davinci resolve with yay -s davinci-resolve, I get the following:

...standard yay stuff above...

-> error making: davinci-resolve-cannot find package name: [Version mismatch]
-> Failed to install the following packages. Manual intervention is required:
davinci-resolve - cannot find package name: [Version mismatch]

what can I do about this such that I may install and use DR? Thanks.

as a side note: I found someone on the arch forums who posted about the same issue today as well

Based off the comments on the package's AUR page, it seems to be an issue with the PKGBUILD

You could try and see if the beta version works, if that works for your usecase
