Hi all, I've recently switched to Linux and I've used Brave up until now on Windows. I've noticed a pretty jarring change in how Braves looks on Linux vs Windows where on Linux it looks like everything is scaled at 110%. I can scale webpages back down but the UI is still sitting at what looks like 110%. I see that there's an issue open for a scaling issue on GitHub. Can anyone confirm if what I'm seeing is the fixed version or if this is the broken version? Attached you can see a side by side of Windows and Linux.

Description When I install Brave version 1.57.47, scaling seems way off because Brave has blown up. It looks like scaling went to 300%. It does not happen on version 1.56.20 or 1.51.114. Steps to R...

Please follow the Standard Litany when asking a question:
What was your environment? What was your operating system, configuration?
What did you do? What did you run or test? Where?
What actually happened? What were the exact results, complete log contents, exact error messages?
What did you expect? What were you aiming to achieve? What result were you looking for?

Vague or superficial questions will yield vague or superficial answers. False information leads to false solutions.

What was your environment? - Arch Linux
What did you do? What did you run or test? Where? - None, installed Brave and checked themes to see if this was specific to a theme
What actually happened? What were the exact results, complete log contents, exact error messages? - UI looks scaled up
What did you expect? What were you aiming to achieve? What result were you looking for? - UI to not look scaled up

I'm basically looking to see if anyone knows if this is the expected look or if it's the bug mentioned in the GitHub issue

Since it's affecting more than one Browser maybe it's tied to Plasma + Chromium

are you on x11 or wayland?

#

it could be that all xwayland windows are getting scaled and native wayland windows aren't, or the other way around

#

if you are on wayland

Im on x11 since I have an NVIDIA card

#

I haven't dived too far into DE or WMs since I'm still trying to get some feature parity between Linux/Windows
