want to set a static ip for a server but when i do, ip route shows both .98 and .104. the one that shows up on the router is .104. how do i fix that?

a, i forgot to change it back to static. last time i set it to static it didnt give me internet at all

yeah, i had a static ip before reinstall. but it doesnt work anymore for some reason, i did it the same way
it works perfectly fine in windows, idk why it doesnt work on arch

@tulip mortar i found there is an option on my router to reserve a dhcp ip for a specified pc. but now the port says its closed when i check it on the yougetsignal site it says its closed, ufw says its open tho

strange, maybe you can try disabling the firewall completely.
