i have to manually update grub on where normal.mod is every time i boot in grub rescue

and it doesnt save

There's a grub rescue command I keep finding "configfile" but I get "Unknown command" when typing it

what exactly do you have to do each time to get it to boot?

i'm not sure what normal.mod is

i don't see anything about it in my grub.cfg

i get the error that normal.mod was not found and it takes me to grub rescue

then i have to type
set root=(hd0,gpt4)
set prefix=boot/grub
insmod normal
normal

#

then it starts up

file /boot/grub/x86_64-efi/normal.mod
should say ELF 64-bit LSB relocatable...
