where did you download the iso from and how did you flash it to the usb, and did you check one of the hashes against the iso before you flashed it?
From the arch Linux site
And I used Rufus last version
I Didn't change settings when flashed it i used default
torrent, a specific mirror, etc.
Italy's iso
Literally from the server in italy
Should I download one from the US?
One of the two tho
Well no I downloaded it from the server repository
Checksums

and when it's finished, check the hash
How can I do that on windows?
I remember there is a command or a github powershell script
Get-FileHash C:\users\tom\Downloads\archlinux-2022.05.01-x86_64.iso -A SHA256sum
Replace that C: path with your own to where you downloaded the iso to, and replace the date on that iso with the date of the iso you downloaded (not todays date, but the date on the file showing when it was published)
that's for powershell
Nyasaki is probably more knowledgeable than myself, so now that they're involved I'll likely go quiet unless they disappear ๐
nope, im gone
Hash is the same
wonderful, now show the rufus settings
Uh
I'm flashing it but sure
Same error
Well
I'm gonna take my dog out
And then I'll try with another usb if I find one because I think that the problem is this
likely either that or your bios settings
Nope
Because in the past I installed arch on the same pc
Never changed any settings
hi, BIOS has a legacy usb option, check if you enabled that
.s tias
though really I don't think that is the problem
oh that's for your scheme, you selected MBR on rufus
i don't know if mbr works well with uefi
Yes
the other thing to try might just be using something other than rufus
I get same error but I get grub on uefi only
Let me try to disable csm
OH WAIT
IT WORKS

It's copying rootfs to ram
YEEEEEEEEEEA IT WORKS
@analog fractal YOU ARE A BBS
Big bad snail

thanks, enjoy :p
