Hi there, I just got back to installing arch linux and after finally getting to my desktop environment on KDE with SDDM. I came across an issue the OS using NV164 instead of my Graphic card (In screenshot) originally I had that issue with Nouveau before but I knew how to solve it. I even tried the ways I fixed my issue with the Os using Nouveau before. But, this is issue is all new to me. I'm currently wondering if my display manager is loading before my nvidia. I did install arch on a SSD. I am still a newbie but hope someone can help

Install the nvidia-dkms package
Since you have a "modern" gpu you can use the nvidia-open-dkms package, they are the "kernel modules" but open source
also, send the output of sudo lspci -v and upload it to https://paste.ee/
A free, easy to use Pastebin.
why not nvidia
The open source drivers are worse than the proprietary ones
Just got back okay I posted. went ahead and remain with installed nvidia also |sudo lspci -v| uploaded https://paste.ee/p/MZA7t

I did have the correct drivers as nvidia and went check that my Kernel was still using nouveau which for some reason kde was naming it "NV164" I also forgot to install linux-headers but then ran "sudo mkinitcpio -p linux" and regenerated my mkinitcpio for linux kernal and reboot and fixed.
