Okay so first little story:
I once wanted to go to uefi, i did go in bios switch to it and save then PC gave pure black screen, nothing worked, no keyboard input litteary dead pc, only fans spin a little.
I had then cpu intel celeron g530 and i was on mbr.

I now have different cpu and i switched to gpt, i dont know is it good idea to try it again, i dont remember how I fixed it, i read somewhere that it can also maybe be gpu issue.

Current specs:
Motherboard Asrock H61M-DGS
Cpu Intel I5 3350P
Gpu Asus amd r5 230

If it is a hardware problem. Then by no means do I think Linux can fix this soulless PC.

You may want to have your motherboard, PSU, etc. checked.

How did you make the switch back then? I mean, if you can get into the firmware setup menu, some people call it (incorrectly) BIOS menu.
