Hi, could you please post the output from the following commands
lspci
glxinfo | grep -i opengl
vulkaninfo | curl -F 'f:1=<-' ix.io
Then install mangohud
sudo pacman -S mangohud
In the steam launch options, add
env MANGOHUD_CONFIG=full mangohud %command%
Afterward, post a screenshot of the game running
In the future, please follow the litany https://www.co.kerr.tx.us/it/howtoreport.html

Subsystem: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd TU117 [GeForce GTX 1650]
Kernel driver in use: nouveau
Kernel modules: nouveau
Nouveau, the open source Nvidia driver, is notorious for poor performance
And Intel's integrated graphics are rather weak, so it shouldn't be used either.
Unfortunately, using NVIDIA's proprietary driver is currently the only way to play games on a rather recent NVIDIA card under Linux.
You can install it as follows
sudo pacman -S nvidia
The system should then be restarted.
You did install nvidia?
yes
lspci -k suggests otherwise.
maybe i installed something conflicting when trying to fix it
Can you run echo "blacklist nouveau" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/nouveau.conf then reboot?
I installed Nvidia again and rebooted
Can you post output of lspci -ks 01:00.0 ?

Also can you also ping me every time you reply? I might be AFK.
ok
done
Please post the output of lspci -ks 01:00.0 when the reboot is complete.

Please also post the output of vulkaninfo | curl -F 'f:1=<-' ix.io, IIRC terraria uses vulkan.
http://ix.io/4A5n
Everything should be fine now.
i also had problem with proton
it didnt worked
do you think it fixed it?
@topaz eagle
What is the problem? Can you post the output if there is any.
@acoustic estuary Add prime-run before mangohud in this command
Read the ouputs, their system seems to default to nvidia, there is no need for that.
Although I guess it is a single GPU system so it shouldn't matter
Where is proton installed?
ls ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common
