Looks like an issue I had once.
I am assuming you are trying to run KDE
Wayland or Xorg?
If it is Arch I will assume you are using Xorg by default.
What GPU do you have?
Use ctrl + alt + f[2-6] to switch to a different tty
Then login and post the output of journalctl -b |& curl -F 'f:1=<-' ix.io
Could not resolve host ix.io
Kde
Omit everything in the same command after the journalctl -b
What does SDDM say in the top left corner?
It might be a pain but reading the logs is a good experience and practice.
Plasma wayland and plasma x11
Which one is selected?
Wayland
Select Plasma x11 and try to log in again.
Still same
What GPU?
Do you have a dual graphic setup?
Plus, can you login to a different tty and show me the output of ls /var/log
Intel hd 620
Alright
It does nothing
Still waiting for help
are you connected to the internet?
