Hello, I switched from xfce to kde plasma and I'm having some issues connecting to the internet. Using the kde GUI It lets me connect to the internet and ping servers all up until I open a browser and try to search something, then the internet fails.

Still sounds like a DNS issue to me but I am not sure how to fix it. Is xfce still installed? Can you switch over and have working internet? At least that would narrow it down to something KDE related.

I would say enable dhcpcd if on a wired connection but if you have a connection being shown then I would think that wouldn't be the issue.

I'm connecting wirelessly

#

But, the internet does show up and does allow me to connect to it

What I would do is completely disable everything network related and try to connect manually with something like wpa_supplicant or iw.
