I want to install this BIOS update: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/gaming-series/ideapad-gaming-3-15ach6/downloads/ds550052-bios-update-for-windows-10-64-bit-ideapad-gaming-3-15ach6?category=BIOS%2FUEFI
but this only supports windows 10. However, I extracted the ROM files so that I can install it through tools from arch. Is there a way to do it? Is it the same as installing BIOS on linux like windows?

Would you recommend it?
My current bios version is 2.01, the update is v2.08

Have you tried seeing if fwupd supports your device?

I have a thinkpad p1 and fwupd updated the BIOS without problems, try that first on yout PC
