so my touchpad seemingly does support three finger gestures, but its driver or something is made to palm-reject them. three finger taps work tho. i want to switch my workspaces with three finger gestures, and i am on gnome wayland. touchpad is something by synaptics and (because i am on wayland) i cant tell you the actual model name 🤷♂️ how do i let it work with three finger gestures?

Hi, what desktop environment are you using or window manager? Are you on Wayland or XWayland and what distro, I assume it's Arch?
.
Have a look at this
gnome, wayland. libinput-gestures iirc only work on xorg
gnome has its own three finger gestures, but my touchpad for some reason refuses to identify any three finger actions that aren't a tap
and three finger tap is just a boring middle click
so it looks like its an issue somewhere between me touching the touchpad and gnome receiving gesture events
