so after some updates a long time ago, my xfce installation seems to just not. i pick xfce in gdm, i enter my password, i hit return, screen goes black for a sec and pops me back to gdm.

things i know:

  • this is not xorg issue (openbox works)
  • i should probably look at the logs

things i do not know:

  • where logs
