Does anyone know why some or maybe all gtk apps on my system wont change their theme to the lxappearance. I am on i3wm

did you make sure to click "apply" on lxappearance

if you have apps using libadwaita, chances are they will just ignore your theme

#

you can force it with the envvar GTK_THEME
