and they only trying to install windows that works now
that's the only problem
that's why i suggested that they clean up the SSD and do a clean install
now, it shouldn't matter what other distribution or how familiar they are with linux i think

On cfdisk, you need to mark the free space then begin partitioning

You also need to use lsblk to know which partitions are you going to use

It should load windoz Installer

Select your Language and click install windoz

Then open a CMD by pressing Ctrl+F10

select disk <number of the disk that was listed previously and irs the target drive>
clean
convert mbr

Then close CMD window and proceed with normal Installation but when partitioning, don't give it all the space. Idk how big is your drive, but give it half of your drive space to windoz, so you can install Arch after

After that, let windoz do its thing

What i did was anyways wipe everything install arch, then get os-prober, Partition, then install windows then spam your boot menu key, DON'T LET WINDOWS BOOT. go to your grub then go onto arch, then # sudo os-prober in your terminal, password, then you should see a "Windows Boot Manager" in your efi partition at "nvme0n1p1" or where ever the efi was set. then do # sudo nano /etc/grub/default then at bottom of uncomment (remove the octothrope) the GRUB_DISABLE_OS_PROBER=true and if its on "=true" make is oppisite.

Then run # sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg

You should see an output of "Added windows boot manager or somewhere on the lines of that.
