I messed up my fstab, no biggie, but at the time I didn't know how to fix it, so I did the bad thing (I ran fsck without knowing what it does because I misunderstood what the message said and I think I corrupted data) HELP 😭 😭

Running fsck wouldn't corrupt data unless the disk was already mounted or the disk was already corrupted enough to where writing/reading the entire disk caused the corruption to spread

Well if you had errors and warnings in fsck then your drive was probably messed up anyway but fsck might have been able to fix it

If you are unable to make a screenshot, at least hold the camera still and make sure it has autofocus, proper lighting. I can't read this. You probably have to boot from a live medium to edit back your fstab file
