#[SOLVED] Dependency question

Why do you want to uninstall it
It's not an optional dependency so why risk breaking the other package
It seems to directly require vim, so there's probably no way to get rid of it
you could try getting xxd-standalone from the AUR, but that might not work
Because I use Neovim instead of Vim and having Vim is kinda awkward when I have nvim
@plucky canopy it seems that libguestfs only wants you to install vim for when you want to control it with ocaml
should be safe to get rid of it
pacman -Rnsdd vim
it might be reinstalled if you update libguestfs, but i'm sure theres some sorta package blacklist you can make
idk
oh finally found our answer
'
so yes, you can remove it, but you might need it again if you use the rescue shell

aight
probably virt-rescue
you just got $\\LaTeX$'d received a thank you cookie!
