i have my laptop with windows 10 (legacy, mbr) installed on it and now I want to install endeavor os(arch) on it and make win/linux dual boot on the same disk(mbr, 2 drives, and 30gbs unallocated to install linux on) on which windows is installed, do i need to use/choose setting to install GRUB bootloader while installing endeavor os(arch).
(I've never created a dual boot before, and have never used Linux before)

do you think 30GB for Endeavour will be enough?
you won't be able to install much software on that
Till i expand my storage
ah fair enough
I'll shift linux on to a separate disk
well you are definitely going to need Grub Bootloader
that's just something you'll need on almost any Linux distribution
one thing you'll want to do is back up any important windows files to an external drive
and you might need some help setting up the OS Prober so you can boot to windows from within grub
I'd recommend you practice in a VM a couple times first
I did
Endeavor os installer doesn't handle that on it's own?
if we choose "install alongside"
Hmmmm it might, but I'm not sure
Grub doesn't enable the OS Prober by default
I wouldn't expect Endeavour to make those changes itself
Can you help when I install endeavor? or maybe some guide or something which could help
I just don't want to lose my data
Sorry I can't help rn, do you have an external drive or a cloud service to store your files on?
I saved them on my pen drive and home server's networked drives
