#Accidentally made laptop monitor secondary monitor. How do I reset display settings?

I was trying to connect my laptop to a projector and it wasn't working so I was changing settings to get it working. Now I have no desktop. I can launch the commandline and execute commands. Is there a way to reset the display settings to default? Before the changes

I just plugged in an external monitor. It seems the desktop is on whatever monitor is not the primary monitor. I try to switch them around but it just goes back and forth. If the external monitor is disconnected, there is no desktop

try xrandr -s 0

#

wait no that fixes a different problem

#

where size is fucked

#

The cmd disabled the external monitor but the desktop is still missing

you could try resetting kde kscreen (that is kde right?) with rm -rf ~/.local/share/kscreen/

then ctrl alt backspasce

lament shuttle
#

It's executed, so it removes the configuration file, right? Should I reboot?

signal dune
#

ctrl alt backspace

lament shuttle
#

After executing the command and ctrl alt backspace, it restarted kde but it didn't change

Short of reinstalling the OS

some fish script i found

#

convert it to bash if you dare

lament shuttle

It\s okay. I ran the script.

cd ~

if that doesn't work, just delete everything on the main list

Maybe I can reinstall KDE Plasma?

#

Or would it still keep a configuration?

#

Is it maybe not with KDE itself but sddm?
