Sorry for the title, those are supposed to be slashes. Discord didn't let me put them there. Currently, I'm on my phone, but I'll try to be as descriptive as I can. Earlier today, I got a notice saying that my root partition is almost full on storage, so I resized the drive/volumes with lvm. Everything seemed fine until later, I attempted to launch a few games from steam. They lunch and closed, all of them. I tried validating the files, and it said they were missing ten. I relaunch the game, and it closes. I rebooted my computer, and now it's stuck on the boot screen saying.

Starting systemd-udevd version 252.3-1-arch
/dev/mapper/volgroup0-lv_root: recovering journal
/dev/mapper/volgroup0-lv_root: clean, 366564/1966080 files, 746446/7864320 blocks

I'll attach a picture. I tried editing the grub.cfg but had no luck. I saw that some of the causes were due to the graphics not working but not sure how to troubleshoot that. I'm sure really what to do from here.

this is way past the grub stage

can you switch tty in that part?
if so then it's most likely related to your display manager

I tried changing quiet to single on grub but it gets stuck on the file system check.

After running on recovery it's been doing a file system check

#

Its been running for 34mins

#

How long does a file system check usually take? The root directory is on a 1 TB nvme ssd.
