#[SOLVED] grub ignores timeout
22 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I have set it in /etc/default/grub and used grub-mkconfig -O /boot/grub/grub.cfg
Or -o
Do a copy paste of what’s in /etc/default/grub though
Make a pastebin link or similar of it and put the url here
Pastebin.com is the number one paste tool since 2002. Pastebin is a website where you can store text online for a set period of time.
It was working fine until yesterday
Fuck it, I'm reformatting
OK it's doing it for Ventoy too
How long is the time out lasting?
Is it worth redoing grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg to make sure it was done correctly?
I think it's a uefi issue
@north pond I'm actually stupid. I forgot I had another keyboard plugged in
I'll try noe
Yep. That was it. I removed my cmos battery and uefi bootloader settings over a keyboard
