Yeah, it sucks
Not that I know of, but are there alternatives to kodi if that's the case?
I do have a blu-ray/dvd player in hand, but what if I don't have access to it all the time?
lemme see
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/list of applications#Video_players https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Optical_disc_drive#Playback https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_video_player_software
The following comparison of video players compares general and technical information for notable software media player programs.
For the purpose of this comparison, video players are defined as any media player which can play video, even if it can also play audio files.
one of these oughta have your answer
if not just find an app for ripping from the second link
I can use VLC Media Player for playing optical disks, but I'm trying to make a use case of the lm thinkpad for a media center interface
so whats your issue
I did not realize Kodi removed the ability to play audio cd's and dvd's
But it's still funny because it still exists on WINDOWS
oh
these work on linux
these support both cd and video dvd, except ffplay
find the overlap
and these support bluray
ig you could just use ffplay+libcdio
@cloud walrus does that help
I guess so?
