are you using discord from your computer or another device?
does the browser software open and the webpages don't load, or do the browsers not even open?
do you have reflector installed?
and I recommend always using either pacman, yay or paru to do your updates
(personally I think paru is the way to go and not yay, but that's only if you're using the aur, if you're not pacman is the way to go)
