#Cant login with NVIDIA + Wayland

Hi,

I just installed Arch and can't seem to get it working with my NVIDIA GPU. I used archinstall and checked nvidia proprietary drivers.

If I boot with nomodeset in my kernel params, it works, however I can't login to KDE with Wayland, only X11 works. I tried nvidia.drm=1 but this breaks on login (green stripes on my monitor and PC crashes).

Anyone got nvidia working with wayland or do I need to set another kernel parameter?

you need to set nvidia_drm.modeset=1 to use wayland

they said nvida.drm=1

maybe they were just shortening, or maybe they used the wrong one, I don't know
