I've followed the installation guide from the wiki.
1 drive (nvme) with three partitions, boot being efi, swap and /). Using grub.
When I come to the login screen (tty) and i login the last login is flashed and I'm sent back to the login screen.

I have reinstalled a couple of times (including setting up all the partitions and formating). I've also tried 3 different ttys (ctrl alt number) and they all behave the same.

Starting arch with fallback mode ends up with the same result.

I haven't installed anything outside the installation guide

Or perhaps a better title is that I can login but I'm immediately kicked/logged out.

So the problem is a dumped core in bash. There aren't any updates in pacman. Switching shell to zsh works.

I've only followed the wiki guide. Several times. I switched from bash to zsh

Not sure what gave me old packages but bash was most definitely borked. And I know i followed the installation wiki, since I did it 4 times prior to posting here.

a yt tutorial wouldnt help also, cus this is purely just a problem with bash dying on him

Following the installation guide did not work no. journalctl helped me to see its a bash issue. So as soon as I installed zsh things worked.

Apparently those crashes does not fallback to C. Even Konsole just crashes. It used to work
