go into fdisk again
delete the partition
the w
then q
oh and make sure youre root
Try d
This is normal yeh
Fdisk /dev/sdb
d
w
q
But if I go back in I can delete again
Can you show the output of fdisk -l after deleting the partition?
No partition or free space is in cfdisk for this drive
Shitty 29.5 GB partition is back
Reboot your device and try again
I've tried that like 5 times but I'll try again ig
Rebooted it's still there
What the fuck
Try mounting that partition to check if its actually there or its a fdisk specifc problem
Mount command?
mount —mkdir /dev/sdb1 /mnt/test
Is it a bootable windows partition or did you recently mount it in windows?
I tried to install windows on it a while back
It's to small though is it errored out and isn't bootable
Oh then it has unclean filesystem and since fdisk can’t delete the partition, it might be corrupted
Tbh idk how to fix that, maybe you can try formatting it as ntfs and then try deleting it
K
Nvm I somehow fucked it
