The situation is as follows, I have my linux laptop, an android phone and SteamDeck. I setup a hotspot on my laptop using native KDE tools. The network is visible for both SteamDeck and android phone, both can connect. Then I add WPA/WAP2 Personal password and now SteamDeck is able to connect, but android phone is not. The password does not contain any crazy characters, only upper and lower case letters. Any idea what is going on and how to fix it. Using hotspot without a password is not an option.

does it say anything when you try to connect from the phone
Just that the network is saved, nothing else, no getting IP, no authenticating
oh idk then
Well, when I try connecting, I got after few seconds Failde to connect to network popup
Yes, It works! I'd rather default KDE tools work properly, but it solves my problem. Thanks
