#Need some help trying to troubleshoot “archinstall”
34 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Ofc my bad
weird, looks fine
I just used the default disk layout that it automatically gives you
with ext4
Maybe it’s got something to do with secure boot lemme try turning that off
does it matter which usb I enter to?
not really
depends on which points to the archiso
if they both point to it
then it's the same
I’m getting a different error now
might just attempt to build it on my own and get headaches there rather than here tbh
did you mount it b4 hand?
i’ll try to mount it manually and go through again
cus it's erroring because it's already mounted
which is why it failed
could also be that archinstall is broken again 💀
screw it again just going to install something like kubuntu
I only want a kde environment anyways
pretty sure it is broken cause the last time i tried to install arch via archinstall I was hit with obstacles,if i were you @manic ridge I would dedicate a good hour into installing arch by scratch , refer to the arch installation manual or if you're a visual learner check out this video guide

mb
kinda new to this whole shabang
@rain pawn found the first
@rain pawn the red error is similar
now what's super interesting to me, but I can't test out as I don't have one, is both are nvme drives
im pretty sure qemu can emulate nvme
not the speed ofcourse
just the interface
interesting, I'll try and google how if the ISO ever actually downloads
from 0 peers...yikes
so that's why i couldnt find it without searching
