i cant find this exact problem anywhere, it just self terminates with no error codes

my guess would be i installed flatpak recently?
ive updated everything including NV drivers and mesa

everything other than steam and its games are working fine

some games can be launched manually via their binaries, others cant

resolved, after doing ????? it finally gave me an X error, the troubleshooting wiki for that was my lib32-nvidia-utils needed updated
