Running pipewire, I have tried installing linux-firmware and sof-firmware but the speakers still aren't working. I've tested and it seems to work in windows 10. Headphones are working fine. The speakers are indeed detected and pavu control reports sound playing but no audio is coming out from the speakers themselves. Here is a screenshot - https://uploadi.ng/fazzi/Mq4xSXmf

It seems to work on analogue stereo output. But I heard digital output is better? How come it doesn't work on that option, but fine on another?

They are different protocols, I think. For example, don't expect to browse web pages over FTP instead of HTTP
