i know that pamac is a GUI to install packages and I really prefer this way of installing and updating my apps and packages.
when i tried installing it however, it says that it went out of date, why and what can i use instead?

You can use gnome software store for official repos and flatpak. Then paru for the aur
Don't use pamac. It's a mess
