#Coordinated Time Tables

There is no need to increase efficiency when we are running out of resources. Also I don’t understand how this will decrease demand in goods
Lvl1 Pandemonium
I think you should change to
if you want planned economy
I dont see how this is merit
Management is not centralised though
Every manager acts independently and how they see fit contrary to this
if bureaucratic control is merit, then city run shops is merit
yes but its on a scale of an buissnes, in a way all buissneses are small planned economies
the connection to merit i see is squeeze out of the workers more in by lowering their safety
Planned economy is an idea found in communism and non capitalist systems i do believe it goes against tradzoid values
i think both
and
can have planned economies
You had me until you said this
I don't quite understand. Is this supposed to be like Microsoft Planner?
@pallid wind i think this is a nice Idea, but pretty much undoable. Like with such a difficult weather, with snowstorms and such possible at any given time, quotas and schedules can't be held as much as we would like, imo
Otherwise it is a nice try to get everything scheduled, on the same page and easier to track.
But then also the injuries that would rise due to the tight schedules :/
All good 😉 Just giving my thoughts, as in you asked for. And that came to mind
"How should we organize our efforts?"
COORDINATED TIME TABLES
-# Contrast to Independent Planning
[ Production efficiency is slightly increased. ]
[ Materials demand is slightly decreased. ]
[ Goods demand per capita is slightly decreased. ]
( Workplace injuries slightly increase. )
This is a small step towards Merit.
Crosleigh spoke his arguments.
"Centralized time tables will allow for the city to coordinate efforts seamlessly between districts, divisions, and departments, allowing for materials and manpower to arrive on track and on time. Additionally, shipments will be tracked wherever they go and schedules designed down to the tiniest minute and slightest detail, ensuring that no resources are wasted, all things are at their place, and everything is in order."
Crosleigh stopped for a moment, before continuing.
"However, by ordering schedule-masters and foremen on the ground to crunch time, orders, and quotas into smaller timeframes, workplace accidents are certain to increase to meet the harsher but necessary requirements to keep everything on schedule."
Crosleigh completed his statements.
-# Should the appropriate event fire, the Steward and Council will have the option of forming the "Centralized Planning Apparatus", further organizing operations under a single schedule and bureaucracy at the cost of forcing workers onto even stricter work timelines.
