I put 2 views in the same area, with a cloud background, but when I enter view 1 through a pipe, the background (bottom layer) disappears, while the background (top layer) does not...

Try importing another level over this one

#

Since it happens with some levels

#

My 5-1 was like that, i imported other level, and then copy the bg hex and imported 5-1 again, pasted the hex and its fixed

@red stream

leaden drift
#

not sure if its the same problem tho, he said in another view, not another area

#

but it could be

If it works say here 😉

red stream
#

no it doesn't work... and I moved the view to another area to test, and even in a new area, the background is not displayed

#

maybe it’s where your view is located?

#

the levels have a byte which controls where they start both vertically and horizontally in the views, im not 100% sure but unlike horizontal scrolling, they don’t loop vertically I think

leaden drift
#

i think they do

#

vertical levels tend to use background that loop vertically, like towers for example

#

its also the case for levels like 7-2

red stream
#

so there is a solution for this bug or not?

craggy viper
#

i've never seen this bug before so i dunno

red stream
#

OK

iron ocean
#

maybe you could send an nml of your level

#

if youd be fine with that

red stream
#

what is an "nml"?

leaden drift
#

a kind of patch that you can export with nsmbe

grizzled oracle
#

a .nml is a level

leaden drift
#

my bad

red stream
#

how can I export this?

iron ocean
#

select the level area and click the "Export Level" button

red stream
#

Ah OK
