If you reach too close he would jump to another part of the arena

And for the rex, he would throw bones that would aim at the player, and you would jump on him til he falls out of the track, each time you jump on him, he would throw you back to the train wagon

I got a idea for sakura smb: ambush
How it works?
When a hammer bro is over the worldmap node, the player will get teleported to a ambush level like smb3, and i would use the unused todas worth actor functionality
Each world would have its own ambush level
Idk if the teleport would need custom code but i think it can be done without? (Not sure)
Basically when entering the level instead of entering the level, you enter the ambush
It would be a amazing way to get hid of needing to add the blocks/hammer bro in every level of ssmb

Theyre more like the new super mario bros 3 one, but yeah, finally nsmb has ambushes 
Ndy coded it, it works amazingly well, and i use a unused nsmb feature for the levels
Once the hammer, fire and boomerang bros/snailicorns/sledgebros of level are defeated, the game kicks you out of the level without beating it

nsmb ds had its own kind of "ambush", it just adds One enemy to a level you want to play, it doesnt force you into a level where you need to kill them

When you're small Mario fighting a Hammer Bro in a tight area with no brick blocks under them to hit, they're quite the risk, don't forget that NSMB Hammer Bros are much more erratic than in Mario Maker and Wonder

Fun fact, the metal form has a corresponding mushroom in Mario Kart Arcade, it's called the heavy mushroom, the Giant Mushroom can just be that (assuming heavy Mario will actually be Metal Mario)
Interesting, metal mario would be doable, but i would need to add a new texture on mario model for mega mario, probably a whole new head texture too wich is even harder to make, so i preffer following with heavy mario, wich is kinda a original idea

Im compiling the code cuz yesterday i was making rex use other models for testing stuff
It was a model related bug
From 23 nodes i made it use 6
From 4XX tris i made it down to 214
And the animations has only 5 channels instead of.... 42
Yeah it was far from optmized
Not even the sm64 models with one trillion unmerged vertexes and 6 bones for a fucking coin was as unoptmized as the armature for this rex
Anyways ill import the rex model in game and hopefully it will be fixed
