for example, petey stuns the player, takes more hits depending on if u hit his stomatch or head, and spawns goombas when he dives at the player, monty has a chance to shoot bonzi bills (the code is still unfinished) and I want lakithunder to work a bit diffrently too

Some platformer games such as Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze and Super Mario Odyssey have different music for bosses.

Well unfortunately the Mario & Luigi games don't have different music for most of the bosses, but Superstar Saga had music for Popple and Fawful and Cackletta.
Final bosses don't count because they have their own music to let the player know it's the final battle.

If an actor spawns an actor you can return a pointer to the spawner actor
Thatβs what lakithunder does with his lightning to make it follow him
So I made some lakitus spawn next to lakithunder by making lakithunder spawn them (they respawn every five seconds). Then I made them spawn thunder on the same function that lakithunder does it

for monty mole it's complicated, because the fight constantly goes forward. but with the other bosses, you can use blocks that get destroyed whenever a boss is beaten (event blocks or "?" blocks with spikes both work), and a pipe that is locked by those blocks, if you wanna add a warp after the boss without custom code
what if you add a wall to monty's fight tho?
the fight loops i think, adding a wall will most likely either cause bugs or monty mole will just go through but not the player

it turns out monty does his spin attack once his health is lower then a certain amount, so you can make him take more hits before he switches so the spin state

anyways, why does this matter
im able to change the amount of health thats needed for monty to change size
so it would be possible to have variations of the boss fight that give him the abilty to change state
and once he reaches his max high he could then take 3 hits to be defeated
this boss actually seams pretty well structured
I find it funny that Petey has his Sticker Star theme and you also fight him in a volcano here (at least, you did in the preview)
