#Turn link-play into a Fourm

It's pretty applicable for a fourm. You make a new post with the code in the title, and the chats naturally happen there.

The only issue with this is that asking people if they are available to join LP wouldn't work, but i would argue that making a room then making a thread and waiting amounts to the same thing

not a bad idea i think, but will it work well than threads?

i think this was already discussed

#

in "turn ceirtan other channels into forums"

#

tl;dr no since forums are meant to be a permanent thing, and link play rooms are temporary, thats why they use threads

#

also i dont think this would give any advantage at finding lp rooms?

#

if you look at the last few messages of a thread you can easily deduce if the lp is over or not

it could work, where there’s a main pinned forum to ask people and people can create forums for chatting

the only problem i see is that when someone is asking in the main forum, the whole channel will not light up, but just a marking on the forum channel if you didn’t turn on the follow button for that channel

i don’t think changing it to a forum will do much though

it could work but i dont see why

threads are much better

the reason #server-discussion-old was turned into a forum is because this type of stuff needs its own chat and will last much longer than a lp room
