#Do you think Deus ex could make a good feature film?

Every media made by fans is great, I support the idea.
It could! I'd be more keen on an animation tbh, to keep the voice actor for Adam and not "change" Adam's look in the eyes of the occasional watcher with the face of some actor. But I'd still watch it 🤣 anything to get that sequel
imma say to this what i said to Hideo Kojima when he asked me - over tea- whether he should let micheal bay make a metal gear movie.
kurte russelle is too damn old baby
also: yes
Totally support it. Would be nice if all the blanks can be filled etc. Just don't pump everything Deus Ex into the movie like they did with the new Resident Evil movie. But yeah I think that will really be a great thing to explore
the newer games? yeah sure. the first game? nah, it would be very hard to make it right
but like an animation short for the original deus ex? yeah that can work. ive been writing a screenplay for that too
Oh cool, you're making an animated short?
Are you planning on having it be 2D or 3D animated?
I really loved Leo Tierney's animations, that stuff was badass

Created several years ago and uploaded onto the Machinima YouTube Channel before they shutdown, this is a short animated fan film based upon the videogame Deus Ex created back in 2000, but now uploaded here in glorious HD!
JCDenton and Paul Denton both arrive back in their apartment only to be ambushed by Unatco troops and Agent Gunther Hermann...
even if the character models were kinda weird
with those long-ass gorilla arms
they were still really cool shorts
definitely does the game justice
a combination of both
Ooh, I really like the sound of that.
I really love that kind of hybrid animation, stuff like Treasure Planet and Atlantis
and Titan AE!
I sadly haven't watched that one yet.
but there's a lot of other good 2000's anime I really like
Standalone Complex
Ergo Proxy
I watched a bit of Texhnolyze as well
I really love late 90s stuff too
Cowboy Bebop
Lain
I watched some Trigun too, but I don't remember that show having any CG in it
also heres my screenplay draft touched up by a friend of mine
Lovely!
I'll say, I think you have a very strong foundation.
I love it!
thx
Your welcome, mate.
yeah
would love to see some of this made real
Sadly, this isn't really a movie. But if you watch this and enjoy it please share. I have been working on a script for this for a while as I am a big fan. I really would like those ideas become a reality for everyone to eventually enjoy
Definitely
