I dont know why, but out of all of the artists I listen too, I genuinely think tyler fans are the most annoying. People have this weird elitist mentality when it comes to him and think that listening to Tyler suddenly makes their music taste sophisticated like he doesnt have.... 35 million monthly listeners. And this is especially prevelant in Tyler fan spaces like this server or TikTok where everyone has their "song" that they'll gatekeep like no tomorrow and pretend as if the song doesnt have 50 milllion+ streams or something on spotify alone. This really got to me especially when Chromakopia first released and everyones main complaint was how different the album was from his others and how it "lacked a story" like that apparently became a requirement for Tyler albums or something. Like what other musicians fandom would act like this? It's getting borderline parasocial where people think they are in an "in crowd" of tyler fans in which they compete for who knows him better like bro please wake up you are listening to MUSIC this is a MUSICIAN he is not your friend he is not your god he is not your father. Grow Up
