Yesterday I finished my Paterson Navy and holster, I didn't anticipate the barrel to be shorter than the game, the metal may not be exact due to my colourblindness but at least the gold and white is correct. The holster may look flat but that's because I was running out of cardboard and I think that just drawing it on is ok.

to everyone asking about how to get proportions right, its mostly practice through references and basic anatomy. Also heres a good tip when sketching portraits, always have references to base from and then you'll get the hang of it. (dont copy the references just compare where or how things should be made by looking at the references)
