7.7+ help/seeking advice.

I honestly CANNOT play any match 7.7 or above on Britain or Germany and I need some advice on how to not die in 5 seconds. It’s such a change of pace I just think my smooth brain can’t handle it.

I have 7.7 in Britain and it pales in comparison to 7.7 Sweden for some odd reason - they are basically using the same tanks but Sweden is just so much better?

I can give some advice though, thats had me get semi-reliably 2-4 kills a game, that would be
GET THE ELAND
Honestly the eland is the best vehicle in the british tech tree for around that, and is whats currently getting me through 7.7. Just go on a wide-ish flank, keep hidden behind buildings, then push a flank between a spawn and a cap, or any cluster of enemies. Scout plenty, and once you think youre either spotted or have stuck around for too long, you bounce and go elsewhere. Hiding in defilade or hard cover like buildings will save you, plus occaisionally your low velocity gun can be great for shooting over hills, especially if you scout the target first for range.

also, when you are in a 7.7 match or lower, maybe occaisionally 8.0, the cent mk.3 helps decently. Side scrape around a building, target breeches or gunners with apds, and dismantled people crew by crew, maybe targetting ammo if you get a flank or good shot. at 8.0 up it starts to suffer hard though when you face things with apfsds or higher caliber apds like on the t-55s, t-62s, m60s and leo 1s, as they can melt through your mantlet which is the only decent armour you have really. Plus they also are stabilised and relatively mobile, which are the strength of the cent 3

Does the Eland have a stabiliser? I haven’t researched it yet because I’m researching the conqueror and I was going to get the Eland next after that anyways.

no stabiliser, so you need to slow down or knife fight to shoot. Personally i like the knife fight approach, very fun to round a corner and clap arse at 50kmh. However for accurate shots, stop, wait 3 secs or so for te gun to balance as its quite wobbly, and aim for command/gunner shots to take out mgs and cannons, or ideally ammo. Being HEAT it pens nearly everything at even 8.7 with 320mm of pen, but with a shit spall. Targetting CoM or vital components will save you, especially against russian tanks where they nearly always have a carousel you can pop for easy ammo racks, or rear of turret ammo stowage for russian, american, and german tanks.

You actually bounce more shots than you’d expect at that br but you’re still likely to get 1 shot most times. I use it as a support vehicle/sticking behind or with a few other team mates.

I like it more than the Cent 3 because you bounce alot more and your mobility isn't that mich worse. The conq is decent, great armor, stabilizer and rangefinder are nice to have, the problem is that the gun doesn't one-shot often, which will get you killed with the long reload

interesting. Both seem kinda my style, particularly the conq. With the ballistics ive seen on it, using it as a breech hitter seems kinda viable. Thanks both!

But then again, after the first stage ammo in the cent and caern the reloads quite long and you don’t get 1 shot kills with them either :(

I’ve researched the conq but I’ve hit a SL cap at 250k
