I'm not sure how many crew slots I should have for the nations I'm playing (Germans, Brits, and Italians). Currently I have 7 for each which includes 4 tanks, an spaa, and 2 aircraft/helicopters. I have gotten to the point now where I have the helicopters as I can research them with the ground vehicles and I'm not sure what I want to bring. I usually bring a fighter and a strike jet for the Italians and Germans but I don't know if I should replace one for the heli or get an extra slot for it. This is in inverse to my Brits as I have the heli in but I'm not sure if I want to get another slot to bring a fighter and I also don't know if it's worth bringing the ADATS and an SPAA for them or just one.

In my experience, I found that 6-7 crew slots tends to be a comfortable amount for a nation. For the reason that I can have 4 tanks, 1 SPAA, and 2 Aircraft/Helis of my choice. This is even more so at the lower tiers, where I can make up a line-up like this
Granted, I do have a couple of nations at 8 crew slots, mainly because I like to bring out a few backup vehicles, meme-like or otherwise

For Top tier, 6-7 is still a good number to go for, though if you want a fighter, attacker and heli in the same lineup, 8 slots works just as well
