what nation as a free to play

I want to have 1 nation as a free to play till top tier. I don’t really plan to buy prem time and for this nation I don’t plan to get prem vehicles either. The options for what I have is: Germany, UK, and China.

The UK. Its fun, not too bad to grind and not too long either

Germany is fun very good tanks at almost every br and not hard to grind and not that expensive until later on

Are they though? Most of the time it is easy to cover the cost, even if you only get a critical hit or assist

they have rather high repair cost and not having APHE is REALLY a bad thing

Only having solid shot can force quite a few good habits, like aiming for the gunner/breach and ammo. This means once most other nations move over to using sabot rounds you have an advantage over them, as they’re learning how to use it after being hooked on APHE for so long.

But otherwise it’s a suffer fest

Solid shot is fun. Especially on the 17pdr. The mk.8 shot spall is as good as APHE and it has much better pen. Not having APHE is not a bad thing. In fact, not having amazing armour and APHE makes you a better player, as you can adapt and learn where to shoot.

As far as repair costs, they are pretty well nothing if you do fine.

The 17pdr is rlly nice fun overall. Until you shoot someone and the round just disappears into space

Yeah, i generally recommend to play britain as the third nation, once you hit around 5.7-6.7 with 2 other nations.
