Do you mean the 40,000 points -event stuff or something other? I haven't played in a while but you can't buy the 40,000 point stars before the event has completed. You can buy some of the vehicles after the event too.
If you really want the vehicles, I suggest you buy them after the event. If you are very good in the game and can play 2-3 hrs every day during the event, then you might grind them.

honesty it would only cost 8000 ge to get the top tier event vehicles so its up to you if you wanna waste your money. but you can just play the game like normal and gain score for it
