i try to bring one in grb but i feel like i never actually use it and when i do i make no progress to the next plane to take with my tanks and no i dont want to play air battles cus they are super boring.

If you are saying worth it in terms of winning matches...depends on the BR and who brings spaa or not. 7.0 or lower I'd say why not? May as well bring one, planes are best used with buddies on the ground spotting targets for you
You don't bring a plane to GRB to grind out other planes, if that makes sense

CAS can turn the tide of the battle, its very useful, if you tell me the nation and BR you are playing then I can give some reccomendations for planes to bring in

a few mediocre cas players can win a match
cas as it stands is incredibly overpowered
However planes are generally more expensive and bc reduced rewards youll struggle more to break even doing cas

CAS can definitely help you in grb and it is VERY effective if you do it right and will help you with research, but you really shouldnt push yourself to take out a plane every single match and you also shouldnt only use grb for grinding planes

yeah grinding planes in GRB is hard, you'll progress slower than your tanks.
Getting into a plane is relatively easy, if you don't die immediately.
If you're bad at CAS you should watch some video's on youtube explaining the technical details, after that just get good at it and you can turn the tide easily
Don't forget the BR of your CAS plane is pretty irrelevant in GRB, as long as it's good at cas and you know what you're doing. You rarely get into a long fight where the BR of your plane makes the difference anyways.

it should be completely possible to earn enough SP to get into a plane, infact its a hot topic on how currently planes dont cost enough to spawn in grb. of course, i wasnt able to earn enough on the first days of playing grb and it does take time to get better at it.

CAS is game changing. if you or your teammates are able to kill enemy anti air, you have free reign over the entire battlefield, able to kill anything you want provided you have the appropriate weaponry (dont go to kill a tiger with 50 cals or something).
also something to note about what you said about no progress and air rb: i felt exactly the same, literally EXACTLY word for word the same about 5 months ago. but i knew i had to play air rb to make progress and so i found DEFYN (air rb youtuber). immediately, after watching a few hours of his gameplay, both my performance in air rb and the fun i had improved drastically. i still like grb but i dont find air rb boring anymore. if you find yourself climbing then dying after climbing for so long, then you are in the same situation i was in, and i recommend watching those videos by DEFYN
im talking my wr improved probably by 5-7% and i play air rb for fun now too
hes a great person to learn from, and i was able to learn how he exploited the types of mistakes i made with his enemies, and i also learned more strategies to counter better players
youll probably still say that youll always hate air rb, which is valid

but i recommend just watch him for a week, and play air rb for a few days
give the whole process 1 1/2 weeks
if you still hate it, then by all means hate on me for wasting your time
but i seriously do recommend this
air rb wasnt boring for me because i sideclimbed, it was boring for me because i sideclimbed and died within 5 seconds of a fight
