#Anti-CAS and dogfighting in ground RB

What nation, br, and planes are you flying? Doing counter cas in grb is very possible for most nations but you usually need the right plane for the br
Am playing Germany and am using He112 A-0
I have complete ground lineups to 5.3/7 but am playing lower tier to learn
I’m not really sure on energy and other stuff including to engage properly…
BF 109's energy fight amazingly and usually excel at boom and zooming.
Climb to a good altitude where you think most planes aren't going to be able to challenge you and you feel safe at. Then find a target that is unaware of you and dive down towards them to kill them.
If you don't confirm the kill, use you extra speed from diving to climb back up to altitude and conserve energy. After that you just make decisions based on the enemy's decisions
(I'm not exactly the best player but this is usually what I've seen and done which works for me)
For exmaple:
If you dive and dont get the kill and the enemy decides to chase, you can just climb while slowly turning into him making him bleed energy and speed by making him turn into you and climb at the same time. While you on the other hand have the speed and the climb rate of the BF109's.
Eventually they will either stop following you or will stall out. If they stall out, you can just dive and collect the free kill. If they stop following you just stay at a comfortable altitude and wait for your oppurtunity to dive back down like you did at first.
I usually use Italian stuff. Mainly G55 and G56 for anti Cas.
I am not particularly good in general, but the main advantage for those, that they have great energy retention, and people often mistake me for a bf109.
So I can surprise them with turning on them.
There are 2 approaches mainly.
Either when you spawn go low and fast and pull up on enemies from the front, or go high and around the edge of the ground map, and get behind of incoming enemy.
It depends of the situation which one is better, but the most important part is identifying enemies.
With no marks, you can try to approach them from their blindspot.
If you go low, you can make out planes easier, because of the blue sky background, if you go high, it is harder to see enemies, but you are more safer to get away from AA, and can sometimes make out open tops to strafe
The He112 specifically can be tricky.
It tursn very well, so I would recommend getting very close from the back, and avoiding head ons
Thanks for all the replies!
