terrible stall control (you barely can control your plane in a stall)

at high altitude yes

all outrun it at low altitude
the p47n is also a whole ton heavier than the p47 d28

f8f is the fastest thing at 5.0
good climb and insanely fast
just very frustrating to play
because of the firepower, overheating and mer
p38j is decent
it turns amazingly for a heavy fighter
with fowler flaps it outturns 109s gustavs

fowler is name for the type of flap
So just combat outturns 109Gs?
they still win the dogfight because of their climb rate and stall control
but in the short term, yeah the p38 can outturn them

I think they made it overheat really bad, and that it looses energy really quickly. Even with MEC it overheats really bad and if you loose your energy and don't manage temps properly you can't regain your energy since your engine will overheat. Rudder compresses after 550kmph also so getting guns on target is hard at high speeds.
I think the P-47-D30 is probably better for the same BR
I haven't flown it in a while so idk if they changed it much or not
No your pretty on point, engines will kill themselves if you WEP for more than 5 mins and energy retention is pretty bad
Its probably on par with the D-30 though
At least in the D-30 you don't have to worry about engine overheating and with MEC you can get a few more HP out of it actually

yeah and d30 is better than the f8f
though both are better than the p47
the p47 is a passive plane and in the current meta you need to be as aggressive as possible to do well
